COVID-19 Latest Updates:

BFC SERVICES IN THE LIGHT OF COVID-19: Updated 3/24/20 @ 4:09pm

"We are making these choices not to minimize our own risk, but to protect others from risk." In this way we will "Love our neighbors well."

In keeping with the recommendations of public health authorities and especially out of an abundance of caution for our BFC family and our community, BFC WILL HAVE NO FURTHER SERVICES ON SUNDAYS AT LEAST THROUGH APRIL 5TH.  At that time we will reassess the circumstances to determine if continuation of this decision is warranted.  NO OTHER WEEKLY MINISTRIES WILL BE HAPPENING AT THE CHURCH DURING THIS TIME PERIOD.

BFC WILL PROVIDE A LIVE STREAM VIDEO OF OUR SUNDAY “SERVICE” AT 9:00AM SUNDAY, MARCH 22, AND EACH FOLLOWING SUNDAY WHICH MAY BE VIEWED THROUGH OUR FACEBOOK PAGE OR THROUGH OUR YOUTUBE CHANNEL.  To access the BFC Facebook page, open your Facebook page and type “BFC Family” into the search window.  You will be able to access the video recording via Facebook any time after the live stream as well in case you can’t watch the 9:00 live presentation.  To access our YouTube channel, simply click the button on our homepage COVID-19 section labeled "YOUTUBE SERVICE STREAM."

During this unusual period of challenge, please communicate with our team how we can help you navigate these choppy waters.  You can most easily communicate with us by calling the church at (863) 385-1024, or by sending us an email through our website “Contact Us” feature, or directly to

Ongoing information concerning schedules, service opportunities to our community and other useful information will be posted on our website: and on our Facebook page: BFC Family.  We can also communicate with you directly via our email system.  If you are not already receiving our Prayer Mails or General Information email via this system, send us your email address and contact information through the “Contact Us” feature on our website and we’ll be happy to add you to the list.

Consider ways in which you can “Love your neighbor well” during this extraordinary time of testing.  To that end, remember:

The power of prayer.  BFC, Sebring, our nation and our world need your prayers more than ever at this moment.  Pray for God to be glorified.  Pray for revival in the churches.  Pray for a national and world-wide awakening to the message of Jesus Christ to result from this trial.

Love your neighbor well.  There are many people all around us living in deep fear at this moment.  We have the message of hope in Jesus Christ.  This is your opportunity to be the hands and feet of Jesus in the lives of your friends and neighbors.  Be sure you do that responsibly in the light of the potential for infection, but don’t let fear keep you from serving others.

BFC’s expenses will continue.  We encourage you to continue your regular giving to the church through the “Online Giving” system on our website or through the mail.

“Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.” (Ephesians 3:20-21 ESV)
